Frank Gehry designs Berlin’s tallest building

Gehry Partners, the Los Angeles-based firm founded by architect Frank Gehry has been selected by American property developer Hines to design a 150-meter tall residential tower in Berlin, which will become the German capital’s tallest building. Located in Potzdamer Platz, the stone-clad tower will comprise 300 apartments and a hotel, and its design will be made from stacked rotated cubes and diagonal lines that will create an illusion of asymmetric perspectives.
