Heneghan Peng Architects design Moscow’s National Centre for Contemporary Arts

Irish architects Heneghan Peng have won the international competition to design Moscow’s new National Centre for Contemporary Arts (NCCA). The proposed building was conceived as a vertical focal point at the centre of the Khodynskoe Pole Park, with its exhibition spaces designed as a series of stacked galleries that allow people to engage in individual activities such as visiting a particular exhibition or attending a lecture or concert, or browse through the entire collection.
