As reported by The Style Examiner back in December 2012 (see HERE), Japanese fashion brand Comme des Garçons has opened a branch of Dover Street Market in New York City, adding to the existing stores in London and Tokyo.
Located on Manhattan’s Lexington Avenue, the new Dover Street Market store opened just before Christmas 2013, making available a curated selection of brands (including Saint Laurent, Moscot, Nike, Thom Browne, J.W. Anderson, Simone Rocha, J. JS Lee, Prada, Christopher Kane, Ann Demeulemeester, Visvim and many others) displayed on individual installations produced by artists and designers. In addition to retail spaces, the store contains events areas and an outpost of the Rose Bakery, created by Rose Carrarini and her husband Jean Charles.
