Italian label Brioni has unveiled the first promotional images for its Spring/Summer 2014 menswear collection, scheduled to be published in magazines worldwide from January 2014. For the second season, Brioni commissioned American photographer Collier Schorr to shoot the campaign in the lavish rooms and gardens of the Villa Medici in Rome. To conjure a sense of timeless masculine style, Schorr used an underexposed effect (celebrated by François Truffaut in the 1973 film ‘La Nuit Américaine’) to create a series of black and white images that look as if the looks were captured at night.
