London department store Selfridges has opened the Louis Vuitton Townhouse, a large three-story retail space for the French luxury brand with its own entrance on Oxford Street. Conceived by designer Gwenaël Nicolas, the Louis Vuitton Townhouse in Selfridges is the largest ever store-within-a-store and it contains the first fully revolving, double helix glass lift in the world.
The ground floor of the Townhouse showcases Louis Vuitton‘s collections of leather goods, accessories and travel items, as well as an interactive ‘digital atelier’ for personalisation. The first floor makes available the full men’s ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories collections by men’s style director Kim Jones, whereas the women’s ready-to-wear collections are presented on the second floor.
