British fashion brand Pringle of Scotland has unveiled a new retail design concept by Swiss designers Atelier Oï in its flagship store in London’s Mount Street. The design, which is planned to be incorporated into future Pringle stores, draws inspiration from the brand’s own heritage and imagery by featuring materials and textures such as metallic thread and wood (to evoke the rugged Scottish landscape), cashmere (to suggest the importance of high-quality fabrics and traditional manufacturing processes) and the famous Pringle Argyle pattern (in the latticework used in the lighting fixtures, furniture and display structures).
