American shoe designer Stuart Weitzman is inaugurating his international flagship store in Milan, Italy, designed by architect Zaha Hadid. The new 3,000-square-foot boutique (the 100th Stuart Weitzman store worldwide) is being unveiled on 19 September 2013 during Milan Fashion Week and will mark the debut of a retail concept conceived by Hadid for five of the brand’s new flagship stores planned to open across the globe.
Stuart Weitzman’s international expansion includes new stores in Hong Kong, Rome and New York in 2014. Over the next three years, the brand plans to open additional stores in the Middle East, China, Korea, Taiwan, India, Australia, India and the Philippines.
