Following the success of the Faena Aleph Residences in Buenos Aires, London-based architects Foster + Partners have collaborated once again with the Faena Group to develop Faena House, the latest addition to the stretch of luxury apartments, hotels and resorts along Miami Beach in Florida. Located north of Miami’s Art Deco quarter, the building is located on Collins Avenue and is framed by the Atlantic Ocean to the East and Indian Creek to the West.
The development comprises 47 luxury apartments and residents’ facilities (including a spa, swimming pool and fitness centre) distributed throughout 18 floors. The lower levels feature gardens and ponds, and a light-filled atrium that leads to four individual glazed elevator pavilions. At the upper levels, each residence has a private vestibule leading to an entrance hall with high ceilings and natural daylight from the fully-glazed living area. In addition, each apartment is designed to maximise ocean views through large wrap-around terraces.
