Jimmy Choo Spring/Summer 2014 Men’s Footwear Collection

Luxury footwear and accessories brand Jimmy Choo unveiled its Spring/Summer 2014 men’s collection at a presentation today as part of the official schedule of London Collections: Men. As previously reported by The Style Examiner, this was the first time that the brand decided not to show in Milan and opted for the British capital instead.

For Spring/Summer 2014, Jimmy Choo found inspiration for his men’s range in the vibrant street styles worn by style-conscious men in the most varied circumstances and in diverse cultural backgrounds, from the brightly coloured dandy style of the Congolese Sapeurs in Brazzaville to the urban energy of inner New York City.

The collection includes traditional men’s footwear designs such as brogues, loafers, lace-ups, slip-ons, trainers, biker boots, boat shoes and monk straps, but with added twists. The colour palette features high-contrast natural hues, namely asphalt, black, earth and cuoio with sun-bleached accents of dusty rose, chalk, cornflower blue, pistachio and cayenne. Washes, degradé and matting give a well-worn finish to suedes, pythons and mock crocodile, with some designs sporting microstuds, rivets and glitter accents.
