Following in the footsteps of the interiors created for other Christian Louboutin boutiques around the world that reflect the city in which they are located, designer Lee Broom has created a new store for luxury accessories and footwear brand Christian Louboutin in London.
Located within Harrods’ eveningwear department, the space includes an archive of Louboutin shoes alongside the label’s latest collections in a space that is framed by an archway entrance inspired by the glass façade of Covent Garden’s Royal Opera House. Other nods to the British capital can be found in the tiled walls (reminiscent of the Victorian tiles used on the London Underground) and in the white street lamps that illuminate the footwear displays. London’s Big Ben is also featured in the arched store window, which has been conceived as a giant glass clock face.
