British chain of department stores John Lewis announced today that it will join the British Fashion Council’s menswear showcase London Collections: Men by unveiling its Spring/Summer 2014 John Lewis & Co menswear label on 15 June 2013 and by becoming an official supplier for this major menswear event.
John Lewis joins high-profile names such as Dolce & Gabbana, Rag & Bone, Burberry and Jimmy Choo that are all joining London Collections: Men for the first time. John Lewis & Co (which was launched in 2011 and has proved popular with customers, with sales doubling year-on-year) has revealed that its Spring/Summer 2014 collection will mix traditional pieces found in the chain’s archive with a modern, fresh approach.
