German fashion and accessories label Hugo Boss announced that its sales rose 18 per cent in the last quarter of 2012, with particularly strong figures in Europe and the USA. Overall, in 2012 sales rose by 14 per cent, with the group’s retail business declaring higher figures than wholesale for the first time. The company’s retail network also expanded by 218 stores in 2012 alone, growing to a total of 840 Hugo Boss stores worldwide.
