American fashion designer Zac Posen has launched a new contemporary womenswear line under the moniker Zac Zac Posen that is meant to compete with diffusion lines by other brands, such as M Missoni, Red Valentino and Tory Burch. The new mid-range label (that, in terms of price bracket, sits in between the designer’s mainline collection and his other existing diffusion range, Z Spoke) comprises Posen’s signature jersey dresses, cocktail dresses, leather biker jackets, skinny trousers, brightly coloured coats and handbags. Zac Zac Posen will be stocked at Neiman Marcus, Saks and Intermix in the US, as well as Harvey Nichols in the UK.
