Sébastien Blondin Menswear Autumn/Winter 2013

I have been following the collections by young French menswear designer Sébastien Blondin for a few seasons now. Unfortunately, I was never able to visit his presentations during my visits to Paris for men’s fashion week owing to hectic calendars, but I was delighted to receive images of his latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2013, which is probably his most accomplished to date.

Inspired by the architecture that he observed in Berlin and Zurich during recent personal trips, for his last collection Blondin also explored the potential of texture in quality soft fabrics (such as wool, silk, cotton, and viscose) made in France and Italy. The range has a strong focus on outerwear, namely capes and coats, with some trousers also featuring in a palette of dark green, kaki, variations of grey, deep black, off-white and a touch of burgundy.

Produced in France, Sébastien Blondin garments are available in retailers in France and Belgium, and online.
