French multinational PPR has a strong record of backing rising designers and has enjoyed success with brands such as Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney that belong to a business portfolio present in 120 countries. The move by PPR will enable the Christopher Kane brand to accelerate its expansion by providing the support it needs to grow and open its own stores.
