Victorinox, the brand responsible for creating the original Swiss army knife, has announced the appointment of Christopher Raeburn as Artistic Director of its fashion division. The two brands have worked together before when Victorinox commissioned Raeburn to create a ‘Remade in Switzerland’ capsule line for Autumn/Winter 2011, followed by the ‘PROTECT’ capsule collection. The London-based designer graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2006 and launched his eponymous brand two years later, which became known for reusing decommissioned military stocks of uniform and parachute fabrics.
