Lanvin and Mary Katrantzou Design London Christmas Trees

London hotel Claridge’s has unveiled its annual Christmas tree designed by Alber Elbaz. The partnership with Lanvin follows previous collaborations that saw John Galliano designing the hotel’s Christmas trees in 2009 and 2010.

Meanwhile, London’s Design Museum has collaborated with Mary Katrantzou on a similar concept. The Design Museum tree (a three-meter tall, two-dimensional design on the museum’s outer wall) incorporates patterns from Katrantzou’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection and is embellished with embroideries by Swarovski and Lesage.
