Paris store Centre Commercial has unveiled its inaugural line of footwear with a range of Derby and Richelieu shoes inspired by traditional British footwear and military uniforms.
Handcrafted in a family workshop in Brazil, Centre Commercial shoes use crepe soles made from 100% Amazonian rubber and ecologically tanned leather from the Brazilian region of Pantanal (which, unlike most leathers that are processed with heavy metals, is chrome-free tanned by using acacia tree extracts instead, thus reducing pollution in waters used by the tannery).
