Revived in 2011 under the creative direction of Martin Cooper (who used to contribute his design expertise to Burberry), Belstaff is one of the most promising brands currently flexing their sartorial muscles and one that I have been following closely with pleasure over the last couple of seasons. For its menswear Pre-Fall 2013 campaign, Janis Ancens modelled a collection featuring rich textures and deep colours in very strong outerwear pieces such as slim puff jackets, structured leather jackets, and mixed fabric trench coats.
