The National Museum of China in Beijing is unveiling ‘Esprit Dior’, a travelling exhibition showcasing over 100 dresses by French fashion maison Christian Dior. Scheduled to be open to the public between 10 December 2012 and 21 February 2013, the showcase is being curated by Florence Muller and intends to explore 10 themes (including Christian Dior’s love of gardens and brand’s connections with celebrities) through the display of items of clothing, jewellery, accessories, perfumes, photographs by Patrick Demarchelier, and works by Chinese contemporary artists including Liu Jian Hua, Yan Pei Ming, Mao Yan, Liang Yuan Wei, Qiu Zhi Jie, Zhang Huan and Wen Fang.
