Kris Van Assche for Eastpak Autumn/Winter 2012

For a third consecutive season, menswear designer Kris Van Assche has collaborated with Eastpak to create another exclusive collection. For his Autumn/Winter 2012 ‘Work’ collection, Kris Van Assche reinterprets the codes of Eastpak by using industrial materials while playing with functional characteristics. Across the collection, durability is sustained by the implementation of a coated hard shell. Prints of screws and nails add to the workwear theme.

The collection includes a variety of backpacks, messenger bags, shoppers, and two suitcases that incorporate the embossed logo on a piece of leather and on all nickel-plated zips. The eight designs are available in dark brown, black and blue, and two all-leather styles were introduced with the intention to add a sophisticated look.

The bags will be available from July 2012 through a selection of Kris Van Assche and Eastpak retailers.
